This innovative
project which holds tremendous possibilities for the development of
the children of weaker sections, is in need of resources to
establish a model early child development center and a toy bank.
Model Child Development Centre
will function as a training center for the State of Kerala. This
model center will sustain and propagate the program and do periodic
restructuring on the basis of research and development.
Toy Bank is a path
breaking idea to make available age specific educational toys to
children of marginalised sections. Toys will be shared between
various child centers and taken to them periodically in a specially
equipped van. This is innovative and a pilot project to enhance the
developmental potential of disadvantaged children. It is intended to
inspire other local self governments.
We solicit the support of like-minded people resource persons and
philanthropists for the quality enrichment and extension of this
programme to other Panchayats. Sponsorship or material/monitory
support will help us to extend the program that could create
possibilities for the future generation, particularly children from
marginalised families.
