OBJECTIVES
To set in
motion a model early child development plan ensuring
functional development, motor, psycho-social, language and
cognitive development (movement, interaction, language and
understanding) of children within the age group 0 to 6
years.

With
“Experience Quotient Functional Approach” as the bed
rock, introduce a series of activities involving air,
land and water that lead to total functional development
of the child. |

Introduce a sound concept and structured strategy for
early child development to parents, care givers,
anganwadi workers and community volunteers. Train them
and upgrade their skills to be effective facilitators of
development. |
 |
Sensitise the community on the rights and needs of the
children and empower to provide developmental inputs
making use of the environment and available resources. |

To
promote creative expression of the children by providing
opportunity to develop artistic skills. |

To
impart living, social, vocational and academic skills
through stress-free activities. |
 |
Provide cultural and recreational opportunities that
will build confidence, team spirit and excellence; there
by creating as stress free learning mentality in
children. |
 |
Involve parents and children to make ethnic toys from
locally available material, as an activity of learning
and cultural transmission. |
 |
Create age-relevant culture specific content and produce
work books, hand books and other learning materials. |
 |
Establish a development
center as a nodal center of development, cultural and
artistic training, both for children and caregivers. |
